教学流程：
Step1Checkthewordsandphrases
以抢答的形式检查单词和短语。
目的：检查面广，基本上每个同学都可以有机会抢答并检查自己对单词和短语的熟悉程度，而又不会因检查单词而耽误态度课堂时间。
Step2游戏----新课程的导入
找出两名外貌差异较大的学生来做游戏，一个胖而高大的男生（afatandtallboy），另一个瘦而较矮的男生（athinandshortboy）。
游戏内容：（1）拔河（tug-of-war）（2）跳远（longjump）
目的：引起学生的学习兴趣，了解人物的外貌特征，通过游戏的最后结果（即不管外貌如何在不同的游戏中都能获胜）的对比培养学生的情感和态度：不要以貌取人（Don’tjudgebyappearance）。
然后用这两名学生为例引入heavy,tall,thin,short及两个句型：
1.whatdoyoulooklike?2.WhatdoesTom/helooklike?
Step3Describeyourself(1a).
分别找出几名外貌特征对比鲜明的同学，通过身高、体型、头发三方面一对比的方式描述自己。
目的：再次熟悉描述外貌特征的词语并学会用这些词语描述自己的外貌。
然后用这几名学生为练习两个句型：

目的：激发学生说的欲望，并在此巩固描述他人外貌的问句及答语。
